Three of the orchestral world’s leading instrumentalists join us to cap an extraordinary season. We are proud to present Seattle Symphony Principals Efe Baltacigil, cello; Demarre McGill, flute; and Mary Lynch, oboe; three of today’s most in-demand performers will close our season with individual and ensemble performances in the intimate, acoustically-excellent Florence Henry Memorial Chapel.
DID YOU KNOW? Efe Baltacigil, a recipient of the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant, is a regular concerto soloist with the Seattle Symphony, Gramophone's 2018 Orchestra of the Year, and will perform as soloist in the Masterworks series this season; Demarre McGill, another Avery Fisher awardee, and Mary Lynch are each featured on the Grammy-winning Seattle Symphony's next release---Demarre and Mary, can be heard performing Dalbavie concerti for flute and oboe, respectively, two of the most demanding concerti of the woodwind repertoire.
